Adjacent to Lahore’s Expo Center, this colossal project covering 2.7 million sft, was designed by the British architectural firm of Aedas, with complete MEP + fire designed by FND. The project, owned by Nishat Group, comprises of a large mall, banquet halls and a 160 room 5-star hotel. Some features include 3600 tons of air-conditioning, DOAS systems with heat recovery, and an economizer system based on 100% fresh air for use in pleasant seasons. The 9 MW power demand of the project uses aluminum cables generating capex savings of Rs. 50 million. The project boasts 24 lifts, including 6 firemen lifts, 26 escalators, and 4 travellators. A 100% electrical backup power plant, with 7 life safety gensets, ensures uninterrupted power. Fire & Life Safety Strategy based on BS-9999 and a Smoke Evacuation System seamlessly integrated into the Building Management System.
