In July 1987, Fahim I. Siddiqui, Ghulam Abbas Nanji & Roland deSouza, decided to pool their experiences in the field of Mechanical, Civil & Electrical Engineering respectively under one roof, with aspirations to build an SOM in Pakistan. Fahim, Nanji & deSouza, was established as a registered partnership by these principals, and quickly became popular as FND.
FND is one window solution was much appreciated by the Clients and allied professionals and many projects had complete engineering designs provided by FND. Ghulam Abbas Nanji retired from the firm in 1992, and the remaining principals decided to close down the structural department. The firm now provided only Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Engineering, but the name continued as FND.
In 2011, it was felt by the Principals that the ownership of the firm should be broadened, and as a step in that direction, the firm was converted to a Private Limited Company and additional share holders were inducted into the company.
Since its inception in 1987, FND has now completed over a thousand projects of various sizes for a diverse roster of satisfied Clients: Industrialists, Commercial firms, Building Owners and Developers, Architects, Civil engineers, Contractors, facility Managers and Public agencies. These projects range from small tenant improvements, to large new offices and schools, to major industrial and medical treatment facilities.
